I am honored to have you in this space.
My name is Leticia Osei, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am passionate about assisting individuals in overcoming life’s obstacles with compassion and empowerment.
My professional journey began in the medical field as a Registered Nurse, where I honed my skills in client care, crisis management, and holistic health. This experience provided me with a unique perspective on mental health, allowing me to approach therapy from a holistic standpoint. By focusing on the mind-body connection, I address both psychological and physiological factors that impact mental health.
"Transitioning to psychotherapy, I integrated my medical expertise to create a comprehensive approach that combines medical and psychological perspectives."
As a therapist, I believe that mental health is not a linear phenomenon, but rather a multifaceted one that requires a holistic approach to address colonization, racism, trauma, and oppression. Working with diverse client populations in various clinical settings has given me a deep understanding of the intricate connection between physical health and mental well-being. My work with marginalized communities, such as BIPOC and Indigenous populations has shaped my practice as a culturally sensitive therapist.
In therapy, I take an integrative and client-centered approach. I utilize modalities such as Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care in a culturally sensitive manner. This approach helps clients express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, empowering them to speak their truth, regain their power, and move forward in their lives.
I provide support to those dealing with ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, divorce, separation, domestic violence, domestic abuse, workplace racism/oppression, and anger management, incorporating both therapeutic techniques and a keen awareness of the physiological aspects of mental health.

I believe in creating a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. By combining my medical knowledge with therapeutic skills, I offer a comprehensive perspective that supports overall well-being.
